COMMENT:

Brisbane has clearly followed the Australian property cycle  with a long upturn of around 14 years to early 1993.
This was followed by a 4 year downturn, completing this 18 year cycle.

Brisbane then began it's next upturn commencing in early 1997. This cycle  slowed during the GFC, and then recovered until 2010, ending the upturn cycle after 13 years.

Brisbane clearly then entered it's downturn phase from 2010 to 2013.

The upturn has begun again, starting in  2013, which indications show it should last for up to 14 years, to around 2027.

IT IS CLEARLY THE RIGHT TIME TO BUY IN BRISBANE.

NOTE

Whilst the 14 year up, 4 year down cycle seems to be remarkably accurate, investors should always note different factors (the GFC crisis for example) can cause several years difference in the cycles, although the trends appears clear.
